What is AIA G702 and G703?
G702 is the Application for Payment cover. G703 is the continuation sheet that lists the schedule of values line by line. Official forms are sold by AIA. This worksheet follows the same math.
How do previous certificates for payment work?
Line 7 is the total already certified. Current payment due is earned less retainage minus that total. If last month’s completed work is overwritten, Line 7 and Column D stop matching the GC.
